A bird by any other name

I have no idea what kind of bird this is.  More importantly, how long before these eggs hatch?  How long before those baby birds grow and leave?  WHEN DO I GET MY BALCONY BACK?!

Anyway, here’s a cool time-lapse of Mama bird in action. She actually leaves the nest for a bit!
