Meebo can even log your chat sessions if you so desire! Need to transfer a file? Meebo also allows transferring files to the different chat clients as well. Meebo serves as a proxy to guarantee a file transfer. It looks like you are uploading directly to the user, but you actually upload the file to Meebo, and then your friend downloads from Meebo. You say you don’t like your buddy list stuck in the browser tab? You can also separate your buddy list from the window so it can float independently on your desktop, just like a real chat client!
